Football Coordinator's Welcome to Amherst Patriots Football!
The Amherst Patriots are built on the foundation of respect, integrity, hard work, and accountability. Our primary goal is to help teach and guide the kids on their journey while instilling our core principles in them as they grow into becoming young adults in our community. As Football Coordinator within the organization, my primary objective is to lead the organization from a football operations perspective. I am responsible for selecting the Head Coaches for all levels of football and serve as a primary contact for parents inquires related to football operations. Additionally, I ensure our Head Coaches are certified through USA Football to teach our players proper football fundamentals and provide a safe playing environment. I have a passion for the game but most importantly a passion for all the lessons football has taught me and those lessons have helped me throughout the course of my post football professional career.
In 2017 – Through careful consideration, the Board of Directors has voted to leave New Hampshire Pop Warner and join the Northeast Junior High Football League for both cheer and football.
Formed in 2001, the mission of the NJHFL is to assist area organizations in the promotion of youth football and cheer by providing a set game schedule(s), maintain communication between organizations as well as provide and enforce league bylaws and a uniform set of rules and regulations.
The NJHFL believes that all teams should have the chance and opportunity to play competitive football. The league offers 5 separate levels based on age as well as grade, with each having it’s own separate set of rules and regulations. The board of directors are made up of coaches who not only have a passion for the game, but are dedicated to providing those who wish to learn and play football, the opportunity to do so in a fun, safe and positive environment.
